Access City Award 2017

The city of Alessandria took part in the European competition for the title of the European Union's most accessible cities. The Disability Manager of the Municipality of Alessandria, architect Paola Testa, in charge of disability policies for the provincial capital, appointed Dr Barbara Rizzi of Studio Coggiola as EU project designer for participation in the prestigious European competition. The European Commission included Alessandria among the 7 finalists and on 29 November 2017, in Brussels, Alessandria received a Special Mention for its projects and activities in support of people with disabilities.

Sale of the confectionery giant La Suissa Srl to the investment fund Alto Capital III

The quality-chocolate manufacturer "La Suissa", which occupies a market segment of around 940 million euro and in 2016 achieved a turnover of more than 15 million euro, sold its share capital to the private equity fund "Alto Capital III". News of the sale and the names of the advisers who assisted the parties in the corporate transaction were published by the prestigious magazine Top Legal, which named as La Suissa's adviser the Coggiola tax, corporate and employment consultancy firm of Valenza.

Partnership between ABreg Srl and Kinesis Ltd

ABreg, the largest independent company in Italy specialising in multivendor support services for analytical laboratory instrumentation [liquid and gas chromatography (HPLC and GC), mass spectrometry (GCMSD, LCMS, ICPMS), automation, spectroscopy (FTIR, UV-VIS, AA) and dissolution apparatus], officially became a partner of Kinesis Ltd, a leading international supplier of consumable products, on 28 May 2015. The advisers on the corporate transaction were Studio Coggiola for ABreg Srl and the London firm EMW Law LLP for Kinesis Ltd.
ABreg Srl and Kinesis Ltd concluded an important collaboration agreement with a simultaneous transfer of company shares.
